Over the Memorial Day weekend, Alex Schein teamed up with director Josh Lowell (www.bigupproductions.com) to shoot scenes for the upcoming "RiseUp" music video featuring Deirdre Breeden and Break Dance crews Breaks Kru and Evolution from Brooklyn, NYC. Many thanks to Billy D. and Dana G. (One Shadow Productions) for their amazing contribution to this project.

A friend of mine, Alex Schein, recently released his first full-length album, "Speed of Light". I had the opportunity to spend some time with Alex and others over Memorial Day weekend to shoot the video for the song “Rise Up” featuring Deirdre Breeden. The shoot was held in the Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, New York. The video, directed by Josh Lowell (Big Up Productions), will be released later this summer.

Bboys from the Breaks Kru and Evolution out of New York, were on set both days. The setting and their talent provided some amazing photographic moments. They may have been out of their element, but they were quick to adapt. This experience is definitely in my top 10 for amazing moments and people.

On Saturday night, Alex Shein and Deirdre Breeden made a special appearance following Josh Lowell's sneak preview of his new climbing film "Dosage IV". In addition to their amazing performance, the film itself had some dope footage of climbers from all over the world. You definitely need to check out Big Up Productions on the web.

The Rise Up video will be released later this summer and is certainly something that you won't want to miss. Stay tuned and be sure to show some love to my friend Alex Schein.

Alex Schein will be the musical guest at Josh Lowell's Sneak Film Preview of his latest release "Dosage IV" featuring climbing sensations Dave Graham, Chris Sharma, and Tommy Caldwell.

Come join us in Rosendale, NY on May 27th from 7pm-9pm. Tickets are $10.

Dosage IV will feature new tracks from "Speed of Light" and will be available this Fall.
